Moldex gas cartridges have long been valued for exceptionally low breathing resistance. With the 2026 upgrade, we have reduced it by a further 40% — creating a noticeably lighter breathing experience and setting a new benchmark for comfort, while keeping the same reliable protection. Even a Moldex combination of gas cartridge and particle filter now has breathing resistance comparable to a Moldex FFP mask.
Built on decades of Moldex filter expertise, the upgraded cartridge is designed, engineered and manufactured in-house — down to the smallest detail. Optimised airflow, significantly lower breathing resistance and a slimmer cartridge design are the key improvements. Volume and weight remain unchanged, whilst wearer comfort is enhanced.
