Data protection declaration

Introduction

We attach a high priority to protecting your personal data. It is important to us to provide you with information about which personal data we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to the personal data that we have stored about you.

This data protection declaration applies to personal data that we collect or use, e.g. from visiting our website, contacting our customer service or when you interact with Moldex as a business customer, supplier or business partner.

This includes, without restriction, all personal data of any kind collected online or offline.

Why we ask you for your personal data

We ask you for your personal data for the following purposes in particular:

  • Sending information about Moldex products and services as well as their use and the sources from which they are obtained
  • Answering questions about our products and services
  • Resolving product problems
  • Supporting improvements to our websites, e.g. content or navigation

When you interact with Moldex as a prospective customer, business customer, supplier or business partner, we also request your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Sending security-related personalised messages about our products and services
  • Management of customer relations
  • Carrying out satisfaction surveys about Moldex products and services

Personal data

We collect different personal data depending on whether you interact with Moldex as a prospective customer, user, business customer, supplier or business partner and the way in which you do this. You supply this information on a voluntary basis and it will only be used by us for the purposes anticipated.
Among other things this includes name, company, email address, telephone number, gender, date of birth, information on the products you use and their application areas.

Technical standard data

Some data is collected automatically when you visit our website. This includes IP address, date, time, page visited, protocol, status code, referrer URL (the previously visited site), user agent (browser type and version) and domain accessed.

Passing on your personal data to third parties

We only pass on your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for processing a specific query from you, for example by forwarding your product query to one of our contractual dealers in your neighbourhood or if we are obliged to do so by the law, the authorities or the courts.

Cookies

Sometimes we save information in the form of so-called cookies on your computer. Cookies are identifiers (files) that are saved on the hard drive of the requesting computer. They contain information about the user. The use of a cookie has no connection to personal information you have entered on the website. Our websites can also be used if you have disabled acceptance of cookies via your browser. However, this may result in some pages having no or limited functionality.

Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your personal data from loss, falsification, manipulation and unauthorised access by third parties. We treat your data in accordance with the requirements of the data protection laws in force and applicable in the Federal Republic of Germany and we respect the data protection boundaries in competition law. The validity of this data protection declaration is limited to our company. This data protection declaration does not apply to websites that are reachable via links on our website.

Deletion and change of your personal data

At any time, you can request information about the personal data we have stored about you, or you can ask for it to be corrected, blocked and deleted. At any time, you can revoke your agreement to the general or purpose-specific use of your personal data. We will immediately delete your data from our database. To arrange this, please fill in the contact form or send an email to datenschutz@remove-this.moldex-europe.com.

Change in data protection provisions

We reserve the right to adapt and change these data protection provisions. Changes to the data protection provisions will be published on this site. Earlier versions of our data protection provisions will continue to be accessible on this site, to allow you to understand the changes that have been made.

Newsletter

We use the list provider MailChimp to send out our newsletter. MailChimp is provided by The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 512 Means Street, Ste 404 Atlanta, GA 30318. When you register for our newsletter, the personal data you have entered will be transferred to MailChimp and saved there.
As MailChimp and its technical infrastructure is located in the USA, data is passed on to third parties in a third state that is classified as insecure. The legal data protection framework conditions in the USA are different from those in Germany or the EU.

After registration you receive an email from MailChimp to confirm your registration ("double opt-in"). MailChimp offers comprehensive analysis options about how the newsletter is opened and used. These analyses are done on a group basis and we do not use them to perform individual assessments. Additional information about MailChimp and MailChimp's data protection can be found here: http://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

In addition, MailChimp uses the analysis tool Google Analytics from Google Inc. and sometimes integrates it into the newsletter. Further details on Google Analytics can be found in this data protection declaration under "Statistical evaluation (Google Analytics)".

You can revoke consent for use of your email address to send the newsletter at any time. The revocation can be performed via a link in the newsletters themselves or by contacting datenschutz@remove-this.moldex-europe.com.

Statistical evaluation (Google Analytics)

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc, (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). The use includes the operating mode "Universal Analytics". This makes it possible to classify data, sessions and interactions across several devices using a pseudonym user ID and thus analyse a user's activities across devices. This data protection notice is made available by www.intersoft-consulting.de.

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and enable analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie through your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymisation is active on this website, however, your IP address will first be abridged by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the European Economic Area Agreement. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and abridged there. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the Google Analytics framework will not be combined with other data from Google. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports about website activities and to perform other services for the website operator associated with the use of the website and use of the internet. We also have a justified interest in the data processing for these purposes. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is § 15 para. 3 TMG [German Telemedia Act] or Art. 6 para. 1 (f) DSGVO [General Data Protection Regulation]. Sessions and campaigns will be terminated after expiry of a specific period of time. By default, sessions will be terminated after 30 minutes without activity and campaigns after six months. The time limit for campaigns can be two years at most. More detailed information on data protection and conditions of use can be found at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.

You can prevent cookies being saved through an appropriate setting in your browser software; we point out, however, that in this case not all of the website functions may be available to you to their full extent. Furthermore, you can prevent Google's collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser add-on. Opt-out cookies prevent your data being collected in future when you visit this website. To prevent the collection by Universal Analytics across various devices, you must perform the opt-out on all systems used. Clicking here sets the opt-out cookie: Disable Google Analytics

Job applications

We collect and process the personal data of job applicants for the purposes of processing their applications. The processing can also be done by electronic means. This is especially the case when an applicant sends relevant application documents to us by electronic means, for example by email. When a contract of employment is established with an applicant, the data transmitted for the purposes of managing the employment relationship will be stored according to the legal requirements. If no employment contract is established with the applicant, the application documents will be automatically deleted six months after the announcement of the rejection decision, unless other justified interests of the parties responsible for the processing stand in opposition to the deletion. Another justified interest in this sense is, for example, a duty of proof in a proceeding per the Allgemeinen Gleichbehandlungsgesetz (AGG) [General Equality of Treatment Act]. The storage may otherwise be extended with your express agreement (e.g. due to interest in information about suitable positions in future). In this case deletion will take place 2 years after rejection for the current position.
